Ray Hoffman operates the Upper Ferry on the Wicomico River. The Upper Ferry is one of three cable ferries on the Delmarva Peninsula. The others are the Whitehaven Ferry, again crossing the Wicomico, and the <a href="https://deldot.gov/Programs/woodland_ferry/index.shtml">Woodland Ferry</a>, which crosses the Nanticoke River.
