Whether you need to come back to God or draw near to Him for the first time, today is a good day to begin. Make room for Him in your life. Let Him be your priority.

Don’t spend your life trying to prove your worth to people who don’t see it. God knows your heart. Walk confidently in who you are in Him. You have nothing to prove.

Healing won’t change what happened, but it can change how much of your life it continues to occupy. Don’t let yesterday’s pain keep taking away today’s peace. It’s time to heal.

Just because something has been passed down for generations doesn’t mean you have to pass it on. Choose a different way. Walk with God, and let the pattern end with you.

Don’t reject God’s way simply because it looks different from what you expected. Trust Him, obey Him, and leave room for Him to surprise you.

You cannot control everything others do, but you can decide what you will do with what happens to you. Taking responsibility for your part is also part of growing.

You do not need to see the way out to have hope. You need to remember in whom you have placed your trust.

A few Minutes with God

Before pointing out what someone else needs to change, ask God to show you what you may not yet be able to see in yourself.

Don’t let familiarity make you forget the value of what you already have. Stop, look, and allow yourself to be amazed again.
