Welcome back to The Loot Drop! Today, we are cracking the seal on Disc 2 of Final Fantasy IX, and the stakes have officially reached "Legendary" levels. If Disc 1 was a colorful fairytale escape from Alexandria, Disc 2 is a brutal reminder that Square Enix knows exactly how to pull our heartstrings and tear a fantasy world apart.
