Shen began his adventure into the St. Louis electronic music scene by attending his first rave in 1996. Not long after the DJ bug would bite, and he began seriously learning the craft in 1999. Soon he began playing all over the Midwest at events large and small. Over the many years he has honed his craft into what can only be called ‘Tech Fu”. Shen uses intelligent mixing of different Techno styles and controllerism to rock the dance floor. When he’s not mixing the beats, he’s making them under the pseudonym Shenlong and alongside Ron S. as production duo Residual State. You can find their releases on Anode Records.
