According to a recent report by Health Affairs, fifteen to thirty percent of healthcare spending is administrative. Fifty percent of that cost was deemed wasted spending.
At some point we need to control spending. The Affordable Care Act created a financial incentive to spend more on healthcare due to the insurance companies profiting more as a result. Driving our premiums up in the meantime!
