Today's episode is a DOOZY! First, they discuss the importance of Bodega Cats (2:06), then kick things off with a F*, Marry, K!ll: NYC Street Foods - Pretzel, Dirty Water Hot Dog, and Shish Kebab or as Dara's Dad calls it, "steak on a stick" (4:07).
Then, the extra hilarious Squabble of the Day! (9:23). The fight comes from a male in NYC who got into a fight/name-calling situation with a coworker over a BIZARRE marinara sauce that the coworker brought into the office for a potluck. The Marinara in question contained your usual ingredients (tomatoes, garlic, etc) but ADDED IN a few ROGUE ELEMENTS like MAPLE SYRUP, BALSAMIC VINEGAR, CREAMY ITALIAN DRESSING, AND A PINCH OF GROUND MUSTARD. While the ingredients are indeed bizarre, was it his job as a coworker to call this guy out? Did the coworker have to resort to name-calling? Who sucks?! Listen and find out! Then tell us what you think at @youbothsuckpodcast on IG/TT.
They also touch on:
- Saving people from themselves - should you do it?
- Passive aggressive behavior in the workplace
- Name calling and why it's never a good idea
- Learning from your past behaviors
- Putting up boundaries with people you don't like, especially at work
- Letting people have their wins (even if it hurts to watch)
Dara and Kunal also decide to make this sauce and try it for themselves - you'll have to follow along on TikTok and IG for that content! Same handle in both places: @youbothsuckpodcast!
