In Luke 18, Jesus tells the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector. In comparing the prayers of these two men, we gain an understanding of true righteousness — a heart that authentically loves God and loves people.

From this parable we will learn the difference between being blind, unloving, and very, very faraway from God, and having a humility that keeps us living in the Spirit.
