“Fighting the Giants” Series

Sunday’s message from River’s Edge Church.

Dr Narelle Coetzee’s podcast discusses the Giants we come up against.  Looking at Scripture from  Numbers 13:1-3, 16.

This episode is asking “Are you fighting the right giant?” and “Are you listening to the wrong report?”.

Points from this message: (i) Silence the thoughts in your head – put God’s word in its place;  (ii) Don’t exaggerate.  Take the emotion out or the situation and be specific, always bringing your requests to God;  (iii) Be careful of confronting or stating that the giant defines you.  Your past does not define your future; and (iv) Which giant are you facing? – Cut it down to size, it won’t keep you from the promise land.
