This week the millennial toolbox is challenging you to be ACTIVE in your mental and emotional care. The episode discussion includes: stressful things you are allowed to cut out of your life, activities to reduce anxiety, habits to help depression, and amazing resources to take advantage of.

Resources for help: 

  1. Call the samaritans at (877) 870-4673 (HOPE). they offer emotional support to anyone feeling lonely, depressed, suicidal, or just need someone to talk to. 
  2. You can also call the suicide prevention lifeline, it’s not just for those who are actively suicidal, they provide confidential emotional support to anyone and their number is 1-800-273-8255
  3. Helpline run by Texas A&M for emotional support or a listening ear 979-845-2700 
  4. Online counseling for free at 7cups.com 
  5. Call 211 for immediate help and resources with housing, work support, elderly care, food, clothing or shelter resources.
