When we are called to be Christians, the one thing we are called to is a fight. We are told that this kingdom is for the violent, because " the violent take it by force" (Matthew 11:12) and that "the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail over it" (Matthew 16:18).

But does this mean we fight in a way that is eternal with others, or is this a "fight of faith" (1 Tim 6:12)?
