The Sonship Place

Filled to Fullness by Being in Christ

Listen Later

Sonship is not a rank you climb toward. It is the name God has already conferred, confirmed by the Father's love, written by belief in Christ, and showcased through submission to the Holy Spirit.

This teaching centers on one question: why has God made you full? The answer is not found in what you do but in what you are. The Spirit received at adoption is simultaneously the Spirit of Grace and the Spirit of Resurrection, keeping sons alive in the life of Christ. Fullness, then, is not a resource for activity. It is the condition of being. To be is to be full. Sons are filled with Christ in faith, filled with the Father in love, and filled with the Holy Spirit for fellowship, and that filling is toward one end: the ministry of reconciliation, inviting other sons into the Oneness that Grace already is. The teaching works through a precise definition of sonship as name, rank, title, authority, and ministry, establishing that every other function a son carries is in service to what the son already is.
