The follower of Christ is called to live differently in every way. We are called to give up the empty way we lived before Jesus and pursue the full life He died to give us. However, it cannot simply be a matter of making the decision to live differently. Nor is it something that a course correction will allow us to accomplish. Instead, we cannot live differently unless the Holy Spirit effects change in us.
