Exploring symbols in the film Antebellum

In this episode I'll be providing a more in depth analysis of the symbolism and the plot devices used in the film Antebellum. My initial commentary was provided in the previous episode.

The film stars Janelle Monáe, Eric Lange, Jena Malone, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, and Gabourey Sidibe. Directed by Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz. It's also produced by the same people that brought us "Get Out" and "Us".  Provided via the film's website the synopsis is: Successful author Veronica Henley finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality that forces her to confront the past, present and future -- before it's too late.
