The Final Fantasy XVI preview rundown is here and it is proving me wrong. I thought the Final Fantasy 16 gameplay looked promising but the combat looked like a style that I would not enjoy. The Final Fantasy 16 combat gameplay looked too much like game types that I do not enjoy.

It is clear that as a PlayStation 5 exclusive the Final Fantasy 16 graphics are going to be very strong. The latest comments in a Yoshi P interview create an even stronger case for the game being an exclusive. Will we see a Final Fantasy 16 GOTY 2023 at the end of this year?

Final Fantasy XVI is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. The sixteenth main installment in the Final Fantasy series, it is scheduled for release on June 22, 2023 for the PlayStation 5 as a timed exclusive.
