In our final Final Fantasy VII episode, we kick off with some Northern Crater chat and decide that the enemy ‘Master Tonberry’ is pretty annoying. Simon - AFTER clocking the game - discovers that you can flee battles. Sean shamelessly talks about using the W-Item glitch; does his ‘clocking’ of the game even count? We move on to discuss battles with Jenova and Sephiroth and discuss whether excess grinding makes the ending anti-climactic. After discussion of the final cut scenes, Sam asks Sean about strategy for beating Ruby and Emerald weapons. Sam opens the virtual viewer mailbag: ‘How many hours did you play?’, ‘Who is your favourite character outside the playables?’, ‘How does Bugey float?’ and ‘Sephiroth – a good villain?’ Sam has some hot takes, and we go over our final reflections on the game.
