Final Games is a podcast about the games that inspired us. Host, Liam Edwards is joined by various different game developers, game journalists and industry veterans to talk about the games that they'd choose to play for the rest of their lives.

This week's guest is Simon Parkin, award-winning writer and journalist. Simon is a veteran writer and one of the industry's most respected journalists. Since beginning in 2003 he has written for a multitude of sites such as Kotaku and Eurogamer as well as more traditional news outlets such as The New Yorker and The Guardian. Simon shares his games and inspirations with Liam and tells him stories from his youth of purchasing import Japanese titles in his local video game store.
