It’s done! The 2026 Georgia legislative session ended at midnight (more or less) on Holy Thursday. In this show we give the final update on the bills we’ve been following – which ones crossed the finish line and now go to the Governor for signature or veto, and which ones fell short. Although “sine die” means “without a date” to resume the legislative session, rest assured that the General Assembly will be back next January (although with some changes created by November elections) and will consider a whole new crop of bills. So there’s always a chance at legislative rebirth.
