In this episode, Mohamed Kamara, founder of InovCares, shares his experience growing up in Sierra Leone during part of the civil war and having to leave his country, when he was about 9 years old, to live abroad. Through his startup, InovCares, Mohamed’s goal is to positively change the healthcare ecosystem while also honoring his older sister and all the women who have died during pregnancy, at delivery, or soon after delivery. Mohamed has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance from the Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
