Ryan Tarnava was born in Lethbridge AB but spent his early years just outside of Calgary AB in the small community of Priddis AB. He finished Jr High and High School in Lethbridge. He was a competitive athlete in the Hammer throw. Ranked #1 in Canada in 2010 and attending team Canada training camps. Due to a back injury he had to retire at 20. Wanting to continue life in sports he earned is diploma in Massage Therapy from Lethbridge college focusing on sports massage and therapy. This allowed him to work closely with athletes of all levels including Olympians from Athletics Canada. Loving his work and the satisfaction of helping others Ryan was looking to increase his lifestyle. Owning his own massage business and working part time as a trainer for the Lethbridge College athletic teams was barely paying the bills. In 2013 at a wedding in Kelowna BC Ryan met Aaron Forsyth. The two became friends and stayed in contact. Aaron told Ryan about his financial company that he worked with and asked if Ryan would be willing to sit down with someone from his firm in Lethbridge, as the company was trying to expand in the area. 5 months later Ryan finally sat down with the person who was in charge of the Lethbridge Office. Ryan was amazed by the amazing information he received and the wonderful things the company was doing for families across Canada. Beyond that Ryan seen an opportunity to be apart of this amazing movement and make some money while helping people financial. After getting his license to work in finance 3 months later Ryan left massage and went full time running his own brokerage. Almost seven years later now and Ryan has one of the largest and fastest growing financial firms in Southern Alberta and is in charge of running the entire office that he once was a trainee in.
