"I basically found freedom in going plant based, where it might be viewed as restrictive for some people. I’m literally like, I’ve never felt so good in my entire life and so I was like I don’t want to go back to eating the other way. I just felt too good.” - Ashley Kitchens
Today we have two very special guest joining us, our friend and prep master Ashley Kitchens and her Environmentalist (aka environmental engineer) husband Nick! You guys have heard us talk about her in previous podcasts. Ashely is a registered dietitian, one-on-one health and nutrition coach, and meal prepping queen. She helps people live an easy, sustainable plant based lifestyle in whatever way works best for them. She is one of the two accounts I tell any friends wanting to go vegan to follow. On her instagram she shares all her super easy and delicious plant based recipes. Ashley was probably one of the first vegans we were introduced to when we moved to Raleigh after visiting her CrossFit box. Y'all this is only the tip of the iceberg so we’ll let her tell you more. But thank you so much for coming on our podcast.
This week we discuss:

What’s the biggest misconception about veganism?
Why we need to change the wording around lifestyle changes
How we retrain our brains to understand that we don't need animal products
Why Nick went vegan
How Ashley helps people with emotional eating or connection to food
Ashley’s greatest success story
