Bold Points:
Parts of your mind and body want to slow down and find deep peace within. Remember that rest and activity are cycles.
Meditation can help to settle the mind down, and when you get to the quiet depths within, that sense of calm becomes a part of you and your way of being.
If we want a more peaceful world, we must start by finding peace within ourselves.
Meditation can also give you strength to deal with issues that you might have been running from.
Taking time out of your day to calm yourself calms your physiology.
20 minutes 2x a day is great! If you can’t do that, start smaller. Even a couple of minutes is better than nothing.
More tips for personal peace: A. Start with awareness and acknowledge what isn’t working in your life. B. Educate yourself—see a therapist, coach, attend workshops or classes. And C. Take action right away—do something as simple as getting a highly recommended book on the subject.
And if up until now you haven’t been bold, be bold. Start with a bold thought. Thought leads to action. You *can* change your life.
