Sometimes, stepping away from the familiar allows us to return with a different perspective.
After returning from Costa Rica, I gave myself a little more time among the trees, allowing my experiences to settle before returning to the familiar rhythm of everyday life. And somewhere along those trails, I began reflecting on the spaces we create within our lives and how much of our energy we give away without even realizing it.
In this episode of Find Your Way2Vyb, I'm exploring what it means to remain compassionate without carrying everything around us, to recognize where our attention goes, and tobecome more intentional about the experiences we welcome into our lives.
Because creating space isn't always about making room for something new. Sometimes it's about allowing ourselves to remain open to what brings us alive.
And perhaps the most meaningful spaces are the ones we don't feel the need to fill.

Where the Color Took Root: What Came Alive When I LetIt All Breathe
Sometimes a change in scenery doesn’t give us a new direction. Sometimes it simply helps us see more clearly what has already been growing.
In this episode of Find Your Way2Vyb, I’m reflecting on ten days in Costa Rica and the unexpected clarity I found surrounded by color, movement, Mother Earth, and so much life.
From mornings in the jungle and a surprising friendship with the cicadas, to learning about marine life, snorkeling, beach cleanups, art with local children, powerful thunderstorms, and a pink sky that disappeared almost as quickly as it arrived,I found myself paying attention differently.
And the more I noticed what was alive around me, the more I began recognizing what was alive within me too.
I also share some of my experience alongside my cousin Shai and 7 Wandering Backpacks, and the opportunity to learn from and participate in the work being done with Innoceanaaround ocean conservation, education, connection, and care.
Costa Rica didn’t hand me a new purpose. It helped me see more clearly a direction I was already moving toward and gave some of the pieces of my life that had been growingseparately a little more room to find each other.
Maybe not everything that is growing within us needs an immediate name or destination.
Sometimes we can simply give it our attention.
Give it some room.
Let it all breathe.
And notice what begins to grow.

Fall rarely announces itself all at once. It arrives in the cooler morning air, the changing light, and the familiar paths that somehow begin to feel new again.
In this episode, Amber reflects on why fall has always felt like an invitation to slow down, pay attention, and return to herself. Through her fall walks, she explores what itmeans to stay present through change, leave room for life beyond productivity, and trust what is still taking shape.
She also shares a shift in the rhythm of the podcast and honors the people who notice the quiet changes in others through Brooklyn Lights the Way.
This is an episode about letting the season bring you back to the life you are living, and giving that life your attention.
Until Next Time, Walk slowly. Breathe deeply.
And may you always find your Way2Vyb.

In this episode of Find your Way2Vyb, I reflect on what it means to still be finding my way after ten years of learning, practicing, veering from the path, and returning tomyself.
Still Finding My Way closes the summer part of Season One with a look at growth, boundaries, self-trust, creativity, and the lifelong practice of coming back to what we know. This episode reflects on the distance we can travel over time, themoments that help us notice when we have drifted, and the quiet honesty it takes to begin again from where we are.
It is also a reminder that growth does not mean life can no longer affect us. Sometimes, it means we are able to stay with ourselves when it does.
As the summer part of Season One comes to a close, I also share what the next part of the season will look like. Part Four of Season One begins September 20th. After my usualthree-week break, full episodes will be released every other week, with the possibility of micro episodes on some of the off weeks.
Until Next Time: Walk slowly. Breathe deeply. And may you always Find Your Way2Vyb.

What if reciprocity has less to do with keeping score and more to do with paying attention?
This week, I’ve been thinking about the exchanges we participate in every day and how quietly theycan shape us in return.
The relationships we care for. The work we give our energy to. The way we respond to ourselves. Even the relationship we have with the natural world.
Because what comes back to us doesn’t always look like what we gave.
Sometimes it becomes something we learn, something we carry forward, or a part of who we are becoming.
So come walk with me as we look at reciprocity a little differently and consider one question that may be worth carrying with us:
What am I giving myself to, and what is that shaping in me?

Walk slowly. Breathe deeply. And may you always find your Way2Vyb.
There are seasons when we become so focused on everything we need to do that we slowly stop doing the very things that help us stay grounded.
Over the last few weeks, I realized I had drifted away from my own Way2Vyb philosophy. I was working hard, staying busy, and trying not to let anyone down, but somewhere along the way I stopped making room for the walks, the quiet, and the moments in nature that have always helped me reconnect with myself.
In this episode, I share what happened when that imbalance finally caught up with me, why managing stress isn't the same as releasing it, and how returning to the things that restore us can reveal more than we expected.
Sometimes finding our way isn't about learning something new.
Sometimes it's about living what we've known all along.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you've been pushing through life for too long, I hope this walk reminds you that it's okay to pause, breathe, and begin finding your way back.

What happens when the dream you carried for years no longer feels like the life you want to live?
In this episode, I reflect on watching my daughter Kayla follow a childhood dream all the way to Hawaii, recognize when the life surrounding it no longer fit, and trust herselfenough to choose a new direction.
Her path eventually led her back to school, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in finance in just nine months. But this story is about more than a degree or a change in career. It is about listening to what life teaches us, carrying forward whatremains true, and understanding that changing direction does not make the first dream meaningless.
I also reflect on how parenting changes as our children become adults. Sometimes loving someone means offering guidance. Other times, it means listening, stepping back, andtrusting that the compass belongs in their hands.
Whether you are reconsidering a direction of your own or learning how to stand beside someone who is, I hope this episode reminds you that your compass has not failed simplybecause it points somewhere new.
If something in this episode speaks to you, share it with someone who may need the same reminder.

Where the Road Leads
Making Room to Breathe, Wander, and Come Back to Yourself
Sometimes the road changes more than the scenery.
In this episode of Find Your Way2Vyb, I reflect on how road trips quietly became one of the ways I cared for myself. What began as a curiosity about small towns, winding coastlines, and giant sequoias slowly became something much deeper. Each trip reminded me to slow down, breathe, and noticethe world around me in a way everyday life often doesn't allow. Along the way, I discovered that some places become sacred because of the memories they hold, and some journeys become even more meaningful when they're shared with the people we love.
This episode also honors the beautiful little girl who inspired Brooklyn Lights the Way and the lasting light she continues to shine in the lives of everyone who knew her.
Thank you for walking with me.
Until next time...walk slowly, breathe deeply, and may you always find your Way2Vyb.

How ordinary moments slowly changed my relationship with myself.
There was a time when being alone felt like something I needed to fill.
Without realizing it, that slowly began to change.
In this episode, I share the ordinary moments that quietly changed my relationship with myself, from evenings that suddenly became quiet, to a backyard that became a place of peace, a home that slowly reflected our story, a Christmas spent alone, a garage that held space for healing, and sunrise hikes that reminded me how much beauty had been waiting all along.
Looking back, none of those moments seemed extraordinary while I was living them.
But together, they helped me become someone I genuinely enjoyed spending time with.
If you've ever found yourself in a quieter season of life, I hope this conversation reminds you that those moments aren't always asking to be filled.
Sometimes they're simply inviting you to get to know yourself.
Thank you for walking with me,

How We Slowly Become Strangers to Ourselves... and Find Our Way Back
There are moments in life that change us in an instant.
And then there are the ones we don't recognize until years later.
In this episode of Find Your Way2Vyb, I reflect on the quiet ways we can slowly drift away from ourselves, not through one defining moment, but through hundreds of small adaptations that seem insignificant at the time.
Together, we'll explore self-awareness, the subtle changes that shape us, and what it means to recognize the quiet drift before finding our way back to ourselves.
If you've ever found yourself wondering how you slowly became someone you no longer recognized, I hope this conversation offers a gentle place to begin noticing.
Because sometimes, finding our way back doesn't begin with changing who we are...
It begins with recognizing who we've been all along.
Thank you for walking with me.
