On today’s episode, I’m talking with Emily Altier, Head Swim Coach with Peak Pentathlon and Colorado Athletic Club.
Emily grew up on the pool deck and her first swim coach was her own mom. She initially thought she’d go into sports accounting, but during an NCAA post-graduate internship, she looked into opportunities to stay involved with coaching and changed her career path. As a coach, Emily has worked with collegiate, high school, middle school, and club athletes. She’s had a winding path and cobbled together multiple opportunities in order to succeed, including work as an underwater video voice over specialist!
