The Love Approach Project

Finding balance with ancient remedies - Part 1

Listen Later

For most us, our current lifestyle involves living in a city where everything is provided for us (the good and the bad!), from plentiful of foods from around the world, no matter what season we are in, to other not so desirable things such as pollution, constant stress, and the effects these can have in our health.

This, in my opinion, has helped us look again at ancient remedies, and at the wisdom of past cultures that have provided us with the solutions (and support) to be able to reclaim our natural state of balance and harmony. And what a better place to start than talking about Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture! Oh yes!

In the first part of this interview, Registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist, Rachael Haley, from rachaelhaley.com, will be sharing with us what in TCM is considered a balanced or neutral place, how a pattern of disharmony is identified, how this is related to our health and general wellbeing, what Acupuncture and Chinese herbs can do for us, and of course, we’ll we touch on the role of our nervous system and stress!

Enjoy part 1 of this chat, the second part of this interview will be released next week with lots more for you!!

Big hug,

Laura
