I recently spoke of how we can search for great mysteries in our lives as to the leading of the Lord our God upon our lives. Do you like the thought of searching for treasures- Let's suppose that you learned tomorrow that long ago someone had hidden a valuable treasure chest of Gold, word has it this treasure could be valued at 50 million dollars toady. This treasure could very well be in the area in which you live. It could even be on your property. So would you go out and get a metal detector- Maybe get all the latest treasure searching gear. Would you take seriously the search to discover the true nature of this treasure- Maybe you are the one who says I will never find any treasure. So let me ask, if you do not prepare to find the treasure how do you ever expect that you shall receive it- You don't do you. If you have not a shovel how will you dig into and unearth that which is hidden- Now I hope I have sparked your interest but what I truly hope you will come to see is that the greatest treasure available to you today is not in the lottery, it is not in the bank, it is not buried somewhere in the ground or under the sea, even though some of you may think it is. Our greatest treasure truly can only be found in God through Jesus Christ and His living word. The question for you today remains are you prepared to dig into Gods word to find the treasure which awaits you there.
