Trauma has created a fight or flight reaction that you resort to and once you accept that this is a defensive mechanism or response to trauma...that is when you can slowly start to heal. That is when you can take a step back and realize that you have been creating these chaotic relationships or purposefully putting yourself into situations you know won’t end well all because this is where you feel comfortable.
