Ramona is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence. She strives to create an environment where exploitation of children and domestic violence are not tolerated. Like so many young girls who have experienced sexual abuse, Ramona found herself involved in the juvenile justice system and then the Dept. of Corrections at the age of twenty-seven.
Discovering her voice later in life, Ramona took a stance against the constant rejection after leaving the department of corrections and started helping others re-enter successfully after incarceration.
Ramona’s story of transformation and redemption started with her commitment to say yes to healing. Her mission is to empower women to live their best lives after incarceration, abuse, and trauma.
Through various platforms such as women's ministries, women’s groups, panels, and conferences; Ramona inspires women to step outside of their comfort zones and
