On this show, we’re joined by Vijay Patil. Vijay is a biologist studying waterfowl in Alaska. Recently he’s been researching a fairly new colony of snow geese that’s been growing. He tells us why they’re studying them, where these geese are coming from and why the population is doing so well. He also happens to be the one who put the tarsal band on the bird Dan’s group shot a few weeks ago.
