One prayer that exemplifies one way of handling our difficult days.

* Note: consider Absalom and the historical circumstance… what God did

in David’s life through the painful experience of the ramifications

of his sin and yet God’s grace, nevertheless..

* This is a journal entry of one who is “satisfied” in the

lovingkindness of the Lord.

* Satan tempts us to doubt our God, especially when people are against

us. Trains us in how to deal with enemies. But let’s face it—our

enemies are chasing us down (typically) in the way that David was

chased down. But spreading this thing out, we draw out many parallels

to various issues in our own lives.

* We’ve got to be okay being disliked and opposed.
