When Bo Brock, DVM, moved to Lamesa, Texas, for a job in 1992, he was asked to write about veterinary medicine for the local paper. No one was reading his articles, so he turned to humor. His first funny article was so good that it was picked up by dvm360. dvm360 asked him to be a regular contributor. After writing for them for many years, he turned all of the dvm360 articles into a book called Crowded in the Middle of Nowhere: Tales of Humor and Healing in Rural America. In this episode, you'll learn what the first article was about and how writing about something funny each month shifted his perspective on life.
If you'd like to read Dr. Brock's book full of humorous stories, you can purchase it here: https://www.amazon.com/Crowded-Middle-Nowhere-Healing-America-ebook/dp/B01GGKCHOE
