Well I invite you take your copy of the Scriptures and make your way to

Psalm 131 this morning. Psalm 131. I’ve entitled this message, “Finding

Inner Peace” it sounds like something from an Eastern religion. But I think

it captures what this Psalm is all about although perhaps presented a bit

differently than we are accustomed to.

This was a challenging sermon to prepare for. The Lord saw fit to humble me

in this very truth before I brought it to you. This Psalm reveals that I

have too much unmortified pride in my life. Too much striving against the

Lord. Too much clutching at my own glory and refusing to walk by faith.
