Madelyne is a  self-taught artist with over 30 years of experience, a current Texan, and jack-of-all-trades. She specializes in digital art, children's book illustration, motherhood art, and poetry. Her journey as a new mom inspired a whole new season of artwork, creativity, and even her second children’s book (currently under illustration).

Her art focuses on portraying the various aspects of motherhood, making the invisible visible to society and the world. Her primary mediums are acrylics and digital, and she has experience with watercolors and oils as well. She holds a BA in Art History and BA in Anthropology from the University of California, Irvine, and an MBA from San Francisco State University. She is also a certified Art Therapy Coach.

In addition to her artwork, she hosts Paint & Sips, teaches kid workshops/adult art classes (in person and virtual), coaches art therapy and art business workshops, and leads meditation sessions for corporate companies. Recently, she has started creating murals for nursery rooms, kids rooms, businesses, and daycares.

Her greatest creation and artistic inspiration is her beautiful daughter, Makenna, who just turned one!
