Four Diamonds is on a mission to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children and their families through superior care, comprehensive support and innovative research. Since its creation in 1972, Four Diamonds has helped more than 4,800 children and families and supported a diverse platform of childhood cancer research at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine, seeking improved treatments and cures to benefit kids around the world.
In this episode Suzanne discusses her work in philanthropy and the impact it has on children fighting cancer. She shares her journey to this role and the importance of connecting people to opportunities to do good in the world. Susan emphasizes the power of community and the need for self-compassion. She also highlights THON, the upcoming 46 hour dance marathon at Penn State and invites listeners to get involved.
