When you ask Ashley Sylvester about the biggest influence in her life, she doesn’t hesitate before answering: her mom. The lessons her mother taught as a young girl led Ashley to her current path as a talented make-up artist and business owner. But those lessons also prepared her for the unthinkable – how to live life without her biggest support. Ashley married her high school sweetheart after he returned from serving a mission for their church.

Now, several years into their marriage, they are embarking on a huge adventure – building their own home.

Ashley wants their home to be a gathering place for friends and family. And while it’s just her husband and their dogs right now, she hopes this new home is the place where their family grows as well.
