Finding Rest While Waiting on a Miracle
Waiting on a miracle can feel like walking through a long, dry desert. The weight of unanswered prayers and the ache of hope deferred can be overwhelming. Yet, even in the waiting, God calls us to find rest in Him.
Psalm 62:1 reminds us, "Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him." This rest is not a passive surrender but an active trust in God's goodness and faithfulness. It's a choice to lay down our fears and burdens at His feet, believing that His timing is perfect and His plans are for our good.
In the waiting, God often works to strengthen our faith, refine our character, and draw us closer to Him. Just as a seed takes time to grow into a flourishing plant, the miracle we are waiting for requires divine preparation—both in us and in the circumstances around us.
Take comfort in knowing that you are not alone. God sees every tear, hears every prayer, and understands every doubt. Lean into His Word, where His promises bring comfort and hope. Surround yourself with a community of faith that will encourage and pray with you.
Even in the uncertainty, God offers His peace—a peace that surpasses all understanding. Rest in His presence today, trusting that He is working behind the scenes, and let His love sustain you as you wait for the miracle to unfold.
