REVIEWING OUR JOURNEY IN PRAYER IN 2019 ISAIAH 50:4
The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. The Father has said and revealed several things to us in the place of prayer since the beginning of 2019 that we need to remind ourselves even as we prepare to enter 2020. I have doubt that we can get refreshed and empowered if we take hid to some of the things that will be brought to our attention as we go back to some of these great experiences, we’ve acquired. Isaiah chapter 50:4-5 has been the spiritual footing and framework of our engagement when it comes to prayer and intercession.
There are several things the Lord has unveiled to us through the scripture which has guided our pathway into the ministry and mystery of prayer. Dealing with weariness in spiritual transition is a major issue that we often take for granted, and we saw the Lord highlighting on this point this even as we get prepared to enter a new spiritual season. One of the highlights in the message is seeing David encouraged himself in the face of depression and challenge from his own very people.
1 Samuel 30:6
And David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of every man grieved for his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.
