One of my biggest struggles as a rental property investor is wanting to provide a beautiful space but not making investments that won't see a return. Sometimes that return is monetary and sometimes it's tangible in other ways. But it's important that we take inventory of the extent of our improvements and if they do or do not make sense for the bottom line.
