In Matthew 5 Jesus challenges the old mindset that was one of the topics of the day. 'You have heard it said...  eye for an eye'  etc.  Over the years many have seen Jesus response to the old thinking as passive and weak.  But when we look at the cultural context, it is far from that. It's not full of revenge. It's not weak... There is a third way of responding to life's challenges - A Jesus Way.
