Sis, have you ever told yourself, “I'll do that when I lose some weight”? Maybe it was taking pictures, wearing something you love, going on a trip, or trying something new.
Well, can we talk about that? ❤️
In this episode of The Joy Comeback Series, we're having a real conversation about weight, confidence, and the things we sometimes put on hold because we're uncomfortable with how we look.
I'm sharing 4 practical ways to build confidence, shift your perspective, and keep moving forward without waiting for everything about your body to feel perfect.
We're also talking about giving yourself grace, caring for your health, and remembering that your worth isn't determined by a number on the scale.
You can work toward becoming healthier while still enjoying the life God has given you today.
Your joy comeback doesn't have to wait for the weight to come off! ❤️

A different kind of joy comes when you realize you don't owe that money anymore! 🙌🏾
In this episode of The Joy Comeback, I'm sharing my personal journey of paying off more than $10,000 in debt and what it taught me about discipline, sacrifice, choices, and the freedom that comes from finally taking control of your finances.
This isn't about having a perfect financial life or becoming rich overnight. It's about deciding that something needs to change—and being willing to make consistent choices until it does.
If you've been overwhelmed by debt, avoiding your numbers, or thinking, “I'll never get out of this,” I want my story to remind you that progress is possible.
Because sometimes your joy comeback looks like taking care of the areas of your life that have been quietly stressing you out.

Have you ever moved somewhere new and thought, “Okay…now how do I find my people?” ❤️
As a military spouse, I know what it feels like to pack up your life, move somewhere completely new, and suddenly find yourself without the friendships and community you had before. And yes, you can live in a beautiful place and still feel incredibly lonely.
In this episode of The Joy Comeback Series, I’m sharing what I’ve learned about starting over, making friends, and building community after a PCS.
We’ll talk about giving yourself time to adjust, why you shouldn’t force friendships, simple ways to meet new people, volunteering, and how something as small as smiling and saying hello can open unexpected doors.
Whether you're a military spouse, recently moved, or in a season where you're searching for your people, this conversation is for you.
You may be starting over, but you don't have to stay alone. ❤️

Rhonda shares her personal experience with ghosting, the emotional impact, and practical advice on how to heal and move forward. This episode offers insights on recognizing red flags, involving mentors, surrendering to God, and maintaining self-worth.
Sometimes your joy comeback requires accepting that a relationship just isn’t working. ❤️
Not every relationship you wanted to work is meant to continue—and accepting that can hurt.
But you don’t have to keep chasing someone, forcing a connection, or questioning your worth because someone chose not to stay.
Sometimes the comeback is saying, “This didn’t work out the way I hoped, but I’m going to be okay.”
You can grieve it. Learn from it. Give it to God. And keep moving forward.

What would you do if fear wasn't making the decision for you?
In this episode of The Joy Comeback, I'm sharing the story of doing something I once said I would NEVER do....running a half marathon! And trust me, getting to that finish line wasn't just about running 13.1 miles. It required me to face fear, get uncomfortable, prepare, accept encouragement, and keep moving even when I wasn't completely sure I could do it.
And maybe running isn't your thing. But what is the thing fear has been keeping you from?
Starting the business? Having the conversation? Trying something new? Pursuing the dream? Going back to school? Stepping into a new season? Or simply trying again after disappointment?
In this episode, we're talking about how to stop letting fear drive your decisions and start taking practical steps toward the life waiting on the other side.
I'll share what my half-marathon journey taught me about setting a date, preparing for what you're praying for, creating milestones, finding accountability, speaking God's Word over yourself, and taking action, even while you're still afraid.
Because sometimes joy doesn't wait for everything to become easy.
Sometimes joy meets us when we decide to move.
So, what's one thing you would do if you weren't afraid?
🎧 Press play, and let's talk about it.
In this episode: overcoming fear • faith over fear • taking action • setting goals • accountability • finding joy • personal growth • trusting God • stepping outside your comfort zone
The Joy Comeback is a Rhonda Live series about rediscovering your joy and learning to live fully, even when life hasn't gone exactly as planned.
🎤 A word for your season. A song for your journey.

If you feel like you are just getting through the day instead of actually living, this episode is your wake-up call. Rhonda lays out five clear signs your heart needs a spiritual reset - and the changes she shares are especially for anyone who feels overwhelmed, spiritually dry, or stuck in survival mode. She starts with the hidden cost of constantly pushing through life on autopilot, then shows why joy, rest, and intentional pause are not luxuries but lifelines. From there, she unpacks what it means when small things trigger big reactions, why irritability can be a signal that you are carrying too much, and how neglecting your own health can happen quietly while you keep showing up for everyone else. You'll discover:
Rhonda also challenges the idea that being busy means being faithful. She makes the case for intentional replenishment, healthy boundaries, and community that pours back into you before burnout does. If you have been pouring out for everyone else, this conversation is a timely reminder that your heart, your health, and your spirit need care too. Perfect for anyone who needs a gentle but honest reset and wants practical, faith-based steps to get back to joy, rest, and spiritual clarity.

I almost let this season beat me - wet computer, cracked screen, and still I had to press through.
This song, Determine Our Fate, which I wrote, came from watching people choose friends over conviction and convenience over surrender. So I wrote it as a prayer:
Because real joy doesn’t come from everything going right.
It comes from letting God shape the part of us nobody sees. If you’ve been trying to hold everything together on your own, maybe it's time to let go. Save this for the days you forget who’s really in control. What would change if God determined your steps?

Trust, I am not talking about a pagan like fate. No, I am praying that our hearts would turn to God and be used for his good pleasure.
Ephesians 1:4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9 he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

What happens when disappointment lasts long enough that it starts changing your heart and stifles you from moving forward in your gifts?
Maybe you prayed. You waited. You tried to stay positive. You kept serving, showing up, and encouraging everybody else, but deep down, frustration, disappointment, or even bitterness started creeping in.
Let's talk about it. ❤️
In this episode of Finding Your Heart with Rhonda Live, we're having an honest conversation about what can happen when life doesn't look the way you thought it would and how to recognize when disappointment is keeping you from experiencing the joy that's still available to you.
Through personal stories, faith, the Word and worship, we'll talk about acknowledging what you really feel, releasing what you can't control, and learning how to live again without waiting for every circumstance to change first.
Because joy doesn't mean nothing hurt.
And choosing joy doesn't mean pretending you're okay.
Sometimes finding your way back to joy begins with finally being honest about what's happening in your heart.
