In this episode, Abbie explores the Hierarchy Model, another of the models presented by the Coordinated Management of Meaning (CMM) communication theory. Dr. Barbara McKay explains her understanding of the Hierarchy Model and how she uses it in her work with couples therapy. Abbie considers the concepts that we are never only telling one story at a time, that we get to choose our own hierarchies, and that we could use CMM and the Hierarchy Model to heal.
