This episode is inspired by the bestselling book “So Good They Can’t Ignore You” by Cal Newport, busting the myth of following your passion. We are honoured to have Derek Toh, the founder of WOBB (the Malaysian job search platform for Gen-Ys) with us to explore the topic of passion at work.

Derek shares with us on how he came to start WOBB (short for Working on Bean Bags) after developing his career in the corporate world. We discussed the role passion played in Derek's journey of getting to where he is today.

Derek shares with us his perspective of the pursuit of passion in the workplace, and the realities of how this plays out based on his personal experiences and the experiences of individuals he has met and worked with.
