How to figure out your rental rate? I look at Zillow, find the rentals that are comparable to my property (neighborhood, size, ect) and compare their finishes to the properties finishes. Another thing to consider is what type of tenant are you attracting at that rate? I think through would would attract long term tenants, and if possible I look at what rents have gone for in the area in the past.
