Welcome back! Let's continue our journey into vocal health...
During our second episode, we'll be discussing how to prepare your body and breath for singing. We will be covering body alignment and different stretches tailored to releasing unnecessary tension, in the muscles we use during singing. To activate the breath, we will be presenting different exercises, allowing our body to respond to the demands of vocalisation. This is in preparation for our episode next week, where we'll be going through our personal vocal warm-up/down routines. Please feel free to reach out through our social media platforms, email and the link provided below with any questions or comments.
Thank you, hope you enjoy!
The exercises presented in this Podcast have been collated from a range of practices, such as 'Silent Numbers' from Breathing Coordination, the idea of 'body alignment' from the Alexander Technique and the 'Power-Source-Filter' theory from the Estill Voice Model.
