In our 4th episode, we talk with Barbara Boldt of Boldt Communications. In the early 90's, she expatriated herself to Italy. She studied Italian and eventually became quite fluent, but still experienced miscommunication almost every day. In the early years, she taught English to managers who were working in multinational companies. Hearing their stories gave her insights into the kinds of challenges my clients faced having to work in a second or third language. Thus was born her passion for helping people communicate successfully across cultures.
