The idea and perspective  of knowledge and gaining expertise in a skill or field  has changed drastically in the last few years. Having knowledge in a field is almost frowned upon and the curiosity to learn is only becoming less desirable, if it ever has been to begin with. Ask the experts? Are we able to agree on what an expert is?
