Welcome back to The smash a system podcast. I’m your host, Nino Prodan. I want to ask you, have you ever heard of the phrase the race to the bottom? You know, you see the race to the bottom and a lot of industries and especially one that comes to mind is the airline industry. And in fact, the race to the bottom there has been so bad that it actually prompted Richard Branson to create an airline because he was tired of having terrible service service. That was the bottom line. You know, the problem with the race to the bottom is that people end up not being satisfied. people end up not being happy, they they buy things and then they think, Oh, you know what, this wasn’t a good deal. Or, you know what, I I still had to pay this or Oh, I’ve been I’m being nickeled and dimed to death. Because it is a bit of a con game to have an up charge for everything left and right. Any others people that travel very cheaply and love it because they don’t Have any luggage. But when they get hit with that baggage fee when they weren’t expecting it, people feel like they’ve been abused. And I don’t know about you. But as a business owner, I feel like if you’re short, changing people on what they’ve bought from you, or they feel remorseful after they purchase from you, then you haven’t done something right. You’re not offering them or you’re not providing them a good offer. At the end of the day, I want to feel good about what I do. I don’t want to feel like I’m taking advantage of somebody, I don’t want to feel like I’m short changing somebody. I want to feel proud of what I give people. Because when you do your best, and you give people everything that they want, you feel better, you could sleep at night. They feel better. They want to buy from you again. And if you look at a lot of the airlines, that nickel and dime people, they’re always struggling. They’re always one or two steps away from going under and why because they should show that they don’t care. Nobody cares about them. So when you’re thinking about creating your offer, don’t think about creating the cheapest one. Don’t think about the race to the bottom. Think about providing real value solving all the problems. Because the race for the lowest price only does one thing for you, and that’s leaves you broke. So look at building up your offer, look at creating more value and leave your customers or clients fulfilled because doing that will help you create raving fans and raving fans won’t just buy from you. They’ll also get the word out to everybody else. So they feel compelled to buy from you too. That’s it for today. I’m Nino Prodan and I will talk to you tomorrow.
