1. WE FINISH STRONG WHEN WE OVERCOME THE FEAR OF
REJECTION!
Timothy 1:7 “ For God has not given us a spirit of
fear (fear is not God’s plan for your life!), but of power
and of love and of a sound mind” (NKJV)
I Peter 3:13-15 “And who is he who will harm
you if you become followers of what is good? But
even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake.
You are blessed. And do not be afraid of their threats,
nor be troubled. But sanctify the Lord God in your
hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to
everyone who ask you a reason for the hope that is in
you…”
II. WE FINISH STRONG WHEN WE REMAIN CONVINCED IN SPITE
OF THE UNKNOWN
SHOW II TIMOTHY 1:12 (NKJV)
i. “For this reason, I also suffer these things;
nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I
have believed in and am persuaded that he is able to
keep what I have committed to Him until that day.”
Romans 8:38-39 “For I
am persuaded that neither death or life, nor angels,
nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor
things to come (the unknown), nor heights nor depth,
nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate
us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus”.
Romans 8:31-32 asks us…
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for
us, who can be against us? He did not spare his own
Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall He not
with Him also freely give us all things?”
3- WE FINISH STRONG WHEN WE STAY CONNECTED TO “THE
WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE” (JOHN 14:6)
""...Death is swallowed up in victory." "O death,
where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? O
Hades, where is your victory?" The sting of death is sin,
and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God,
who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1
Corinthians 15:54b–57).
4-FINISHING STRONG BY LEAVING A GODLY
LEGACY
“…I THE LORD YOUR GOD, AM A JEALOUS GOD, VISITING THE
INIQUITY OF THE FATHERS UPON THE CHILDREN TO THE THIRD
AND FOURTH GENERATION OF THOSE WHO HATE ME, BUT
SHOW MERCY TO THOUSANDS, TO THOSE WHO LOVE ME AND
KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS” (EXODUS 20:5-6 NKJV)
“CHRIST HAS REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW,
HAVING BECOME A CURSE FOR US (FOR IT IS WRITTEN,
“CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”, THAT THE
BLESSING OF ABRAHAM MIGHT COME UPON THE GENTILES IN
CHRIST JESUS, THAT WE MIGHT RECEIVE THE PROMISE OF THE
SPIRIT THROUGH FAITH.” Gal 3:13-14
