Our mandate is to reach the Lost in the world.
ATTRIBUTES OF THE LOST Or AN UNBELIEVER: Eph. 4:17-19; 2 Cor.4:3,4.
Text: John 9:4-5; John 4:34-36; Col 4:5 (The Living Bible)
John 9:4-5, NKJV
“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
Qualities Needed To Finish The task are:
Sense Of URGENCY:
We must make haste to deliver on our mandate to reach the world. Time is too short.!
We must redeem the time. We must Seize the moment.
You can’t take your time. “Do not begin to say three months…” (John 4:35).
INNOVATION:
We must get creative in preaching the gospel (Share Christian Literature, Make Movies, Create Bible Games, Adapt Fun, Use Technology,etc)
We must learn to Ride on the emotions of the moment: Be it Positive (World Cup Joy, Excitement, etc) or Negative (Grief of loved oned, etc).
Look out for any opportunity to share the good news.
Institute a Soul-Winners’ Box (For Prayer Points)
Have a visible Tract Stand stuffed regularly with contemporary literature.
