In 2 Timothy 4, Paul writes his last words to Timothy, urging him to fulfill his ministry just as he himself has finished the race, living a life of sharing the Gospel, in full stride as he approaches his death. He reminds Timothy to be truth-oriented, that there is a real spiritual enemy out there who seeks to derail us in our faith, and that there is a great reward at the end for all believers that God promises.
