The Word of the Lord gave us believers several lessons on the lives of many men who started well but ended up miserably. These instructions are a warning to many of us. We cannot relax or rejoice about our Spiritual state but we must strive to finish well and strong.

The Bible calls the devil our adversary whose job is roaming through the earth roaring like a lion to devour the Saint (1 Peter 5:8). God is calling us to carefulness and watchfulness, so that will not fall prey to satan’s evil schemes. May the devil not devour you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
